In Remembrance of Him

In Remembrance of Him reflects on the sacred meaning of the sacrament and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. A torn piece of bread and a simple cup of water rest prominently in the foreground, representing the emblems taken in remembrance of the Savior.

Behind them, softened images of Christ praying in the Garden of Gethsemane and Christ upon the cross recall the suffering and sacrifice those simple emblems represent. The muted earth tones and gentle, almost faded figures create a quiet and contemplative atmosphere, inviting the viewer to look beyond the bread and water and remember Him.
